Beautiful peaceful base to explore southern Corsica

Pros: Beautiful small hotel with restaurant and pool. Good location for local beaches but a car is essential. Room was lovely with AC, fridge etc and well decorated. The pool and loungers were very quiet.

Cons: Smoking allowed on room terraces means our terrace had others smoke fumes constantly. A long mirror in the room would be useful.

Lovely stay

Pros: Tiffany and the rest of the staff (especially the young man at the restaurant in the morning) were delightful. The swimming pool and the quietness of the hotel were a real highlight. It has a very cosy familiar feeling and Tiffany makes sure that you feel at home. The room was spacious and had all we needed. Everything was immaculately clean.

Cons: The bed and pillows were not to our taste. The price was maybe slightly too high for a 3-star hotel but the location and the vibe probably made it worth it.

Warm hosts are what sets this small hotel by the beach apart

Pros: Really small hotel which had a lovely feel. The beds and pillows were SO comfortable. The staff were so lovely and kind, very relaxed about us having small children (which I often find is not the case in other hotels). We had two rooms and one was being checked into the next day but the other wasn’t so they gave us a very late check out so we could put our babies to sleep for a nap before we left - you don’t get that sort of service at large hotels. Distance to beach is excellent - could push the kids in the pram and it took about 10 minutes max. Food in restaurant is great, in a lovely setting.

Cons: Nothing it was great

Perfect boho chick style with no pretentions.

Pros: The coziest hotel I saw in Corsica. An heaven of peace. 9 rooms only, all with terraces. Perfect decorations inside the room and in the public area. Warmth of the entire staff (especially Golene). We will certainly come back.

Amazing

Pros: The location was fantastic. The private terraces are great. And there are only nine rooms in the hotel which make it feel like your own private oasis.

Cons: The shower could have drained better. But that was just minor inconvenience.

One of the most relaxing hotels we visited

Pros: The breakfast was fantastic as was dinner. The whole atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing at the same time and everyone who worked at the hotel was friendly and always willing and happy to help. We can recomand this hotel 100%.

Cons: The way to the beach was a little bit longer than expected but it did not change our satisfaction with the hotel.

Nice quiet stay in Palombaggia area

Pros: We stayed at Hotel Palombaggia for 2 nights. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The restaurant onsite was great and convenient. The hotel has a large pool with comfortable loungers and umbrellas, but it is also located a short distance from a public beach (5 minute drive; 20 minute walk). We liked this hotel because it was quiet and located in what felt like the middle of nowhere (it was a 20 minute drive back to the main road to get to groceries, gas, etc.) surrounded by nature. It was nice to wake up to birds chirping in the trees behind our room. The hotel also had 2 electric chargers onsite, which we did not use (the desk mentioned it was EUR 20 per charge).

The best holiday ever!

Pros: Hotel Palombaggia is paradise! The setting is stunning, the hotel grounds are beautiful and the facilities are superb. The staff are simply lovely! From the moment you arrive, you are treated so well, that you immediately relax and feel at home.

Cons: Nothing!
