Hotel Restaurant Mariosa

Fabulous with exceptional service - would 100% stay there again.

Pros: The hotel was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. We had such a wonderful and tranquil stay there. Staff were all extremely accommodating and helpful and the 24/7 whatsapp service was a fabulous touch. The facilities (pool and gym) were great and very quiet. The private beach was also wonderful, with gorgeous sunsets (and ended up being the site of our engagement!). The hotel stay and amenities were not cheap, but it’s definitely justified by the exceptional service.

Cons: We had one evening meal at the hotel restaurant, which was rather pricey (not unusual for the area!) but also definitely not amazing. For main, I had grilled octopus but one tentacle was chewy, and the other tasted entirely like kerosene (presumably from the grill), so that was a little disappointing. My partner’s fish was also a bit soggy (no crispy skin!). That being said, the charcuterie and desserts were delicious, and lunch we had on another day was very nice. Overall, I’m not sure the food was good value for money given the costs. We went for other meals in/around Porto-Vecchio which were much better quality for a similar price.

Idyllic place to stay in Porto Vecchio

Pros: Superb setting for a relaxing beachside / pool stay. Lovely evening dining on the beach. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to ensure our needs were met

A Perfectly Peaceful Stay in Southern Corsica

Pros: I absolutely loved the beautiful and serene setting of this hotel. The atmosphere and location are both fantastic—ideal for a relaxing escape. The staff were all incredibly lovely and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. Our room was modern, spotless, and very spacious—everything you could want for a comfortable stay. It’s the perfect place to unwind, with a calming ambiance that makes it easy to truly relax. The food and cocktails at the restaurant were outstanding. The hotel is also conveniently located near many great spots to explore in southern Corsica, making it a great base for both relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend!

Ideal beachfront resort near Porto Vecchio

Pros: We travelled as a couple and were joined by another couple with 2 kids, We were both happy with our rooms and we were given a complimentary room next to our family. This gesture was appreciated. Mariosa Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. Breakfast was very nice, variety pf fresh fruits, high quality marmalades, crepes etc. Nice small private beach and pool. Ideal for family holidays and for couples. We would be happy to stay here again.

Cons: We would recommend replacing the artificial grass around the terrace and pool area with natural vegetation and grass. The rest of the hotel renovation and rooms is of very good standard and it would match the rest of the hotel standards.

Pros: During my recent stay at Hotel Mariosa in Porto-Vecchio, Corsica, I had an incredible experience thanks to the amazing support from the staff. From the moment I arrived, their warm hospitality and attentiveness ensured a memorable trip. The serene beachfront setting, elegant rooms, and delicious local cuisine at the restaurant made every moment enjoyable. The heated outdoor pool and relaxing terrace added to the charm. Corsica's stunning natural beauty, with its rugged coastlines, pristine beaches, and lush mountains, provided a perfect backdrop for exploration. The local food and wine were highlights of the trip, offering rich flavors and unique culinary traditions. Each meal was a delightful journey, from fresh seafood to traditional Corsican dishes paired with exquisite local wines. Everything was perfect, and I’m already looking forward to returning to discover even more of what this enchanting island has to offer.

Pros: Everything about Mariosa was fabulous The breakfast was the best we had on our Europe trip. The staff were very kind and helpful Facilities were fantastic No request was too much for them Will definitely be back

Un havre de paix

Pros: Nous avons eu le plaisir de séjourner dans cet hôtel le temps d’un week-end, véritable havre de paix alliant sérénité et raffinement. La chambre, spacieuse et d’un confort absolu, se distinguait par une propreté irréprochable. Entre la piscine et la mer, les plaisirs de la détente sont variés et particulièrement appréciables. Nous souhaitons adresser une mention particulière à Diwan ainsi qu’à la jeune femme originaire de Pau (dont nous regrettons de ne pas avoir retenu le prénom), qui ont littéralement sublimé notre séjour par leur professionnalisme et leur infinie gentillesse. Nous repartons avec des souvenirs précieux.

Cons: Toutefois, nous avons été un peu chagrinés par le manque de petites attentions d’accueil en chambre.. Dans des établissements similaires, nous avons souvent l’habitude de trouver un plateau de courtoisie ou quelques douceurs offertes, ce qui crée une atmosphère plus chaleureuse à l’arrivée. De plus, nous recommandons aux futurs voyageurs de bien vérifier les tarifs du minibar, car toutes les consommations y sont payantes.

Pros: Hôtel magnifique, cadre particulièrement agréable et service impeccable.
