Hotel Costa Salina

Lovely hotel

Pros: Everything - I submitted a fuller review with a second booking I made but basically lovely people, great location

Well situated hotel with lovely staff.

Pros: Very nice helpful staff. We arrived very early off the ferry and they made our rooms available much earlier than normal. So huge thanks to Fidji on reception and to the housekeeping staff. Rooms were large and comfortable with beautiful views over the salt marshes. Big choice at breakfast and again, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal.

Cons: Shame the pool isn’t heated but I was probably over optimistic expecting to swim at the end of October!

Pros: It was very clean, the stuff was so kind and helpful

Didn’t want to leave

Pros: Amazing breakfast, relaxing pool, comfortable bed and spacious room. Friendly staff and welcome teas and water in afternoons.

Cons: Privacy screens between balconies have large gaps and not very opaque glass. So you may make accidental eye contact with your neighbours.

an excellent hotel

Pros: An excellent hotel. The rooms were clean and well-equiped, the staff was very nice and helpful. The pool is really nice and relatively big in comparison with other hotels we stayed at in Corsica. An excellent breakfast with a nice choice of local products, fruit and vegetables.

Costa Salina IS Corsica

Pros: The Costa Salina spoiled us. The staff are out of this world, they're the gold standard of customer service. I wouldn't ever visit Corsica unless I get to stay here. The reception staff even booked us services far past their normal times. The Costa Salina is as much an attraction as the blue beach for me.

Cons: Very few things, first - I wish the hotel restaurant stayed open longer, and had more variety. Second, wish the kids and adults were separated for swimming pool, or have a specific time with no kids / no adult couples.

Charming friendly and good value hotel within walking distance of Porto-vecchio old town

Pros: Comfortable large beds, clean, helpful friendly staff, useful shared kitchenette for guest use, large car park, plentiful sun loungers, great views from the back of the property

Cons: The commercial port at the front isn’t so attractive, room decor is a little dated & characterless, no coffee machines in rooms

Pros: The staff are super helpful (one of our clients left something behind in the room and they'd already called us a about it the moment it was found). Another client said it was the most comfortable bed of his entire trip. The location is great - a short walk from town, next to the sea, and a short walk from the bus stop - easy. And the pool is fantastic. I've stayed here quite a few times now and it's my go-to hotel in Porto Vecchio.

Unplanned stop in Porto Vecchio, made enjoyable by a nice stay

Pros: We had just an unplanned short stay in Porto Vecchio, due to a problem with our boat. The Hotel is nice, very close to the marina, and has a big swimming pool that we could not enjoy due to the weather. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast buffet rich and good.

Pros: The breakfast, with gluten and lactose-free options. The kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The comfort of the hotel and the size of the rooms. The location. The balcony. The hotel photos perfectly reflect what you will actually find.

Cons: The decor could use some updating to make the hotel perfect. It feels a bit outdated for my taste.
