Pros: The staff are so friendly and personable- they remembered me from last summer and wanted to really ensure that we had a great time. The hotel is well put together and so clean; the breakfast has a decent range with fruits available. There is so much mountain biking around in the area.

Wonderful stay.

Pros: The Grand Hôtel de la Scala is a nice place to start your hiking tours in the Corsican mountains. The rooms and the hotel are well designed so that you can see that the owner has a clear image how this place should look like. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. From the pool you have a wonderful view to the mountains. The english speaking owners are very kind and they have some nice hiking tipps for you. From the first minute we felt like home :-)

Pros: Beautifully renovated hotel exactly where we needed to stop for the day while cycling from Porto over the hills to Bastia.

Pros: The hotel is gorgeous and the proprietors were friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast featured Corsican specialities.

Cons: The free parking is located behind the building up a hill so you may need to bring your luggage down a steep flight of stairs. Not a big deal but might be a small hassle if you have little kids to manage.

Pros: All excellent. Beautiful building in a lovely village. The interior nicely decorated. Everything taken care of with great dedication. Perfect rooms, comfortable bed, perfect bathroom. Definitely a place worth to stay if you want to see more than just beach and sea!

Pros: Very comfy and nice hotel, inside very clean, brand new, nicely decorated. Owners very helpful, gave us many tips to explore the surroundings and restaurants.

Cons: Nothing I wouldn’ like. Maybe a small fridge in the room and few more sunshades at pool would make it perfect :-)
