A beautiful place in the heart of the Corsican mountains

Pros: Such a beautiful location and the building itself blends in so well with the natural environment. The pool surrounded by huge trees overlooking g the stream and with gorgeous mountain views was spectacular. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the river and outdoor breakfast terrace which was beautiful. The staff were really knowledgeable and helpful - a really friendly team.

Cons: It would have been good to have a kettle in the room (there is a coffee machine for espresso but a cup of tea would have been good). The breakfast is incredible - so much choice and the food is delicious but the fact that it was charged extra at €27 per person felt a little bit penny pinching given the luxurious nature of the rest of the hotel.

Stunning

Pros: Stunning location on the beautiful river. The quality of everything at the hotel is amazing, from the comfy outside armchairs placed everywhere to enjoy the outlook, the delicious breakfast and the natural materials used so that the hotel blends into the landscape. All perfect. An amazing experience.

Cons: The corporate drinks party held one evening that closed the terrace from late afternoon and was erh noisy. Not ideal when you want a quiet drink, by the river enjoying the peace and scenery! What were they thinking!

great stay

Pros: brilliant lication. close to corte but still in absolute tranquillity

Cons: bathrobes would be great and more capsules for the coffee machine

I would definitely go back, as I think it’s probably the best experience in the valley, given the appointment of the hot

Pros: Beautiful location and quirky cabin feel, was creatively designed and totally appropriate for a boutique hotel located in the woods next to a crystal clear stream.

Cons: When you arrive in the car park, the building on the left has the name Hotel on it, while Dominique Colonna has no name, I thought the reception was at the building with the name Hotel on it. Turns out that the building on the left with the name Hotel on it is a restaurant not connected to Dominique Colonna. Good for them, bad for Dominique Colonna! I don’t get it? I asked the receptionist at Dominique Colonna how many people make that mistake, she said a few.

Every element—from the decor to the ambiance—has been executed with impeccable taste and warmth. A rare find for active travelers seeking beauty, comfort, and authenticity in Corsica.

The perfect mountainstay

Pros: The owner and other staf are exceptionally nice! They don't hesitate to help and everything is arranged well. We loved the breakfast bufet, it had good and healthy options, and it was just really good. The views are also amazing and the pool is gorgeous. Hiking near the accomodation is also gorgeous!!! Beautiful mountains, fun to swim in the river. We just really loved staying here.

Pros: The location of this place of magic in a river gorge was steller and the design and materials used in the building sympathetic with the environment. A must go place on anyone’s bucket list

Pros: The fantastic location, beside a fast-flowing river and a huge mountain. The sound of the river all night was very soothing. The hotel has been very skilfully designed to blend in to the location. It is all about relaxation and peacefulness. The rooms are fitted out to a very high standard.

Cons: Information about the hotel and its services is available by QR code only. A paper version, or even a summary version, would be helpful.

Quality property in an amazing location. Pure decadence.

Pros: Fabulous property in an amazing location. We had been travelling for eight days in Corsica and came to walk and explore Corte. The property is directly beside the river, a bit out of town, but a fantastic location to chill and relax. We ended up not leaving the Hotel one day. Staff were great - particularly Prescilla who is amazing. There isn’t a restaurant but there is one next door which was so good we ate there both nights.

Cons: It’s a bit out of town and it doesn’t have a real restaurant but the quality and the location of the property are amazing
