A very relaxing stay in the Corsican mountains with amazing views.

Pros: Beautiful historic house in a quiet village in the mountain; great views, very pleasant swimming pool to relax and read after walks around and a kind personnel always eager to help. We voluntarily chose to spend a few days away from Corsican beaches and relax in the mountains and this was a perfect place to do so. Breakfasts are good but there is no lunch or dinner in the hotel itself. The restaurant options in the small village of Felicetto are quite good but limited (3 local restaurants) if you are staying several days as we did. But many very good restaurants are in villages around, within 10 km.

Cons: Nothing related to the hotel itself.

Great overall experience

Pros: The location is great, everything is do quite and perfect to relax. The swimming pool is very nice as well. The building itself is lovely and takes you back to another era

Cons: The breakfast could be better, with a little bit more options on fruit. The room lacked some amenities such as some coffee or tea for guests to have when the kitchen is not open.

Pros: This hotel is fantastic. There are lots of patios and gardens at different levels and they are beautifully done. Lots of sitting areas where you can drink a coffee or a glass of wine. The bedrooms were perfect for what we needed, simple but carefully done. And of course the location is stunning.

Cons: I can’t think of anything. Maybe the possibility to have on offer a picnic basket for lunch as there are not many shops around?

Heavenly location, a great introduction to Corsica

Pros: Absolutely stunning location - lovely bar by the pool and charming staff. A real find.

Cons: Maybe I didn’t read the small print, but I assumed there would be a restaurant for dinner. It’s only breakfast

Pleasant and memorable!

Pros: Special atmosphere in a historical building of the mid 19th century). Wonderful garden with swimming pool. Great view on the steep mountains just behind the building and on the hills towards the coast on the front side. Good breakfast. The women at the reception wrre always kind and gave us a good idea for a mountain tour with one of those Corsican wikd rivers where you can bath in the noon heat with nobody around. The position is great, as you can visit the wonderful villages and enjoy the great landscapes of Balagne and easily reach the wodnerful coast in less thab half hour drive.

Cons: NOTHING (!) really, except for: The COMMENTES OF (few) GUESTS COMPLAINING for the lack of comfort. We gave 10/10 because the hotel's descritpion clearly states that it's not a modern luxus hotel. Yes, there is no elevator and yes, you feel the compromise between very good comfort level and respecting the historical nature of the building. But for a 3 star the comfort was really really good, we slept greatly with open windows in the silent landscape, and we enjoyed every minute we spent there during the day. Only criticism: the information booklet provided about the history of the building (and of some other such buildings in Corsica) is very interesting. It tells the history of a man who emigrated from that village to Portorico, from where he came back decades later wealthy enough to have such an imposant house built. I missed a honest mention that that wealth was most likely (I'd say certainly, but I have no specific proof) earned by EXPLOITING THE WORK OF SLAVES. While being there we were often thinking of the innumerable men women and children forced to work in Portorico's sugar cane plantages and living in extreme poverty, from whose work we were still indirectly benefiting as guests of this fantastic hotel in Corse, 150 years later. But this is of course no argument against spending time in this great place.

Pros: Beautiful, quiet and relaxed! Great breakfast. Lovely helpful staff!

Cons: No restaurant!

Lovely, but the area around is very reliant on tourists and feels poor in parts.

Pros: breakfast was excellent, the pool beautifully clean, a very calm environment.

Cons: the staff work very hard - they could do with more cover. some variety of bar snacks would be nice.

Pros: The pool area is lovely. The breakfast is excellent. Rooms large and comfortable. Amazing views and good restaurants nearby.

Cons: Not the hotels fault, but there are no shops or cafe in the village, so it would be useful to have a fridge and coffee making facilities in the room.

Most charming hotel you Can find

Pros: All - it looks better than the pictures - if you are looking for a charming hotel in corsica look no further. The Roms are quite Nice but the outside facilities are fantastic - the pool area with garden and deck is the highlight. But the whole House and surroundings just have a fantastic feel. Even a small outside playground. The village has a couple of really Nice restaurants within a 100 meters.

Cons: Same breakfast every Day. Beds are quite hard.
