All in all - Corsica pure

Pros: When we arrived: no one was there; we called and they told us, that the sliding patio door, which also serves as the entrance door to the apartment, was unlocked. We only saw the hostess very briefly later; she was very friendly. Day by day we parked our car beside the appartment. The apartment is large and very well equipped, but somewhat “sober” or ‘undercooled’ or “functionally” furnished. However, this didn't really bother us as the weather was high and very warm and we mostly sat on the terrace, which is very well “furnished” with table and chairs and – much to our liking – a double-seater swinging lounger with sunshade – the terasse offers the best conceivable view over the sea, which is about 450 meters steeply below. The descent to the see takes 2 hours there and 2 hours back - a phenomenal hike. However, it can also be reached by car. The center of Piana is just a few steps away; it is very lively and pleasent and not very touristy.

Cons: It was all fine.

Pros: We loved the house, the amenities, the view, our host and the village. This is a magic place. We will dream of it for a longtime, looking forward to be back soon. Thanks to Coralie for the nice tips and the suggestion of the sea tour with Corse Adrenaline. Insuperabile!!!!

Highly recommended, an ideal starting point for hikes in the surrounding area

Pros: Piana is a village that still has its own life, not a sterile vacation resort

Pros: Amazing view and a very comfortable, clean apartment. The contact was also very friendly and helpful.

A relaxing stay amongst the most stunning scenery and friendly locals

Pros: We loved the location and the view over Les Calanches. The apartment is clean, modern and well equipped and Piana is a lovely village with some good places to eat. Coralie, our host, looked after us and all the folk we met in Piana were friendly and welcoming.

Mindblowing paradise view without parking lot

Pros: Mindblowing view - even nicer than on the photos. View from kitchen, from bedroom and obviously from terrace. Absolutely recommended. Owner offered us a second blanket which was very nice. Lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Very good tips of what to do by the owner.

Cons: - no parking lot. If you are lucky, you get one public 100m away. We had to park 2 nights 400m away. Okay for us though - although they let a 2 bedroom apartment they locked one bedroom mentioning that we were just two. This was okay with us however diminished the value for money - while the outside is like paradise the inside living room is okay yet without a cozy atmosphere (normally you wouldn’t notice but we had a full day of rain)

Modern, Well-equiped Apartment with Exceptional Sea Views.

Pros: Modern apartment with exceptional sea views, clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Situated in the lovely small village of Piana. We really enjoyed our BBQs on the terrace over-looking the sea. Tricky little lanes to drive down to find the accommodation and the nearby car-parking.

Wohnung mit grandiosem Ausblick

Pros: Grandioser Ausblick von der schönen Terrasse aus aufs Meer, La Scandola und die roten Gesteinsformationen. Absolut ruhige Lage mitten im Dorf von Piana. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, die Terrasse ebenso, u. a. mit einem Weber-Gasgrill. Ein privater Parkplatz ist am Straßenende vorhanden, zum Ausladen kann man aber näher an die Wohnung fahren. Die Calanques von Piana haben wir zu Fuss erkundet, damit wir dem Verkehrschaos und der Parkbuchtsuche aus dem Weg gehen konnten. Der Supermarkt vor Ort war leider nicht so toll, leere Regale und eine beschränkte Auswahl. Da musste man dann nach Porto oder nach Cargèse fahren. Es gab aber einladende Restaurants, die wir aber nicht ausprobiert haben.

Cons: Alles prima, nichts zu meckern!

Fantastische locatie

Pros: Ongelooflijk prachtig uitzicht. Alle faciliteiten waren top. Gastvrouw ontvangt, begeleid je doorheen heel je verblijf. Ze geeft fantastisch voorstellen zoals een boottocht bij corse adrenaline in Porto.
