Domaine Codaleone

Located near the UNESCO landmark Gulf of Porto, Domaine Codaleone offers self-catering detached and semi-detached villas on a spacious property with a shared outdoor heated swimming pool, a sun terrace and sun loungers. Each villa at Domaine Codaleone features a private terrace and garden and some villas have a mountain view. Villas are air-conditioned and have a seating and dining area equipped with a satellite TV and DVD player. A washing machine is included and the private bathrooms have a bathtub or shower and hairdryer. An oven, stove and dishwasher is included in each kitchen and BBQ facilities are available. Breathtaking scenery and completely unspoiled.

Pros: The whole experience was amazing, breakfast and pool are great. The location is breathtakingly beautiful, although the roads both to and from are not the faint hearted. Local restaurants are amazing especially Le Couchant Soleil in the harbour at Porto.

Cons: There is a service that provides evening meals , I thought that they were a little over priced and not the best quality.

Fantastic !!

Pros: Clean, friendly owners, fantastic swimming pool, perfect houses incl. BBQ. Close to many beaches and excursions in Portu. Opportunity to order bakery in the morning,… beautiful walking possibilities etc.

Cons: Maybe good to install charging station for electric cars. We used station in neighbourhood (piana) but this could be only suggestion.

Idyllic family vacation accommodation.

Pros: The location is superb. The property is secluded with beautiful landscaping and an exceptional pool. Each house is very private and very well equipped. The perfect place for three generations to create wonderful holiday memories.

Cons: It is quite a distance to travel over challenging roads to reach the location but certainly worth it when you get there.

Excellent stay.

Pros: Great place, very comfortable, spacious clean apartments fully equipped, you can relax as you are separated from other villas. Beautifully designed complex.

Cons: There were some problems with air conditioning in the rooms. it was not possible to set the right temperature, also remote controls for airco devices were not functioning fully. But no other remarks.

We wish we could have stayed much longer

Pros: We had the most pleasant and relaxing stay. The owners are super friendly and helpful. The location is stunning, with views of the surrounding mountains and just 15 minutes from Porto via one of the most scenic roads on the island. Our bungalow was very private and comfortable, hidden between bushes and trees. It was very well equipped and we were so cosy in it that we stayed in a few nights instead of going into town for dinner. The Domaine grounds were a joy to walk about, and the swimming pool was the cherry on top. This was clearly one step above any other accommodation we have stayed in while in Corsica and we would love to return.

Cons: The hot water took a bit too long to come out, but it wasn't a big issue so we did not even report it.
