Very good

Pros: Dinner and breakfast both excellent. Great location just off the GR20 walking route

Heart warming & comfortable :)

Pros: Such lovely warm welcome from the owners who are a group of older locals - they couldn’t have done any more to welcome us. We felt right at home! The rooms were comfortable and warm, nothing fancy but all you want when on the GR20. We were a group of 5 travellers from the UK with very average French language skills, but it didnt matter one bit! They even helped to transfer us from Vizzavona train station. It was so memorable and right on the GR20 route.

Cons: The place is quite but walls are thin and rooms not well isolated from the noise.

A quaint hotel nestled in the forest.

Pros: A hotel with a unique charm. The hearty, homemade meals served in the evening were delicious !! After a long day of hiking it's perfect. Breakfast was very good too !

Cons: If you decide not to have dessert after the main meal, you'll be given the impression that you should get up from the table and leave. If you linger too long it will be firmly communicated to you that the restaurant needs to be laid up for breakfast, and this at 21:05 !! The member of staff who said this probably had a long day :((

Pros: Everything! The welcome, the friendliness of the staff. I was picked up at the station. The restaurant is top notch. Love the desserts especially the Tatin tart. There’s a comfy lounge with arm-chairs and sofas to relax and a library of books to keep your mind busy. The rooms are super clean and comfortable.

Pros: I love this place … it has a real soul and is a family business and been in the family for several generations. The lady who runs it speaks very good English. Everybody is do helpful and the restaurant is great … true traditional fine dining. I really hope this hotel will be around in the years to come because my stay in Vizzavona on the GR20 will not be the same without it. And I really recommend the Tatin tart … the best ever. Thank you for creating memories and thank you for this lovely haven from the past.
