Special place on a beautiful beach

Pros: This is a special place. Excellent location right on a beautiful sandy and quiet beach (even during busiest week of summer holiday season). Very good breakfast with sea view. When we arrived, we decided to stop our on the road trip and just enjoy!

Fabulous, unpretentious family hotel with cool garden opening onto a lov

Pros: Fabulous location, peaceful, calm and straight onto a lovely quiet beach from the garden. Super views across the bay. Enjoyed cocktails in the shady garden looking out over the bay. Nice restaurants on the beach and in Cargèse ( fab, unspoiled little town). The hotel is simply furnished but charming and clearly loved by the family who have owned it for many years. I hope that continues for years to come! The best sea views are rooms 8, 9 and 10 that have wide open vistas.

Cons: A kettle and fridge in the room would be nice. Otherwise I loved this place for its views and tranquility

Pros: Nice breakfast and good choice. Gorgeous setting by the beach. Lovely to revisit this hotel after 17 years and still find the same nice members of the family running it. This is a real family run hotel with a personal vibe. Hope to be back in less than 17 years!

Cons: Not the hotel's fault, but I found the amount of little flies at the beach annoying and more than at other beaches on the island. However, this seems to be due to the time of year of our visit and apparently no problem in the summer.

Beautiful and peaceful

Pros: Gorgeous location, right on the beach with trees all around. On the off season the beach was very quiet and perfect for us swimming. The rooms are all very clean and the sea view rooms have very private balconies. The staff are very kind. A nice trail from the beach up into Cargese town for shop and restaurants. We ended up returning and are already planning our next trip.

Wonderful place with great vibes

Pros: Great location directly at the beach, lovely athmosphere. The whole place had a great feeling about it, like in another century where time stands still.

A simple paradise

Pros: The hotel position is spectacular. Perfect to chill in your room at the sound of the waves. Rooms are small and the bathroom a little old, but in general they are super comfortable. The hotel is simple, in a good sense, perfect to really appreciate Corsica's spirit!

Cons: (really optional) a better choice of vegetarian options at breakfast would have been appreciated. For the rest, nothing really to complaint, everything was great.

Pros: L'emplacement est paradisiaque, avec un accès direct à la plage. La terrasse était magnifique, avec une vue à couper le souffle. La chambre a une belle superficie et le petit déjeuner est délicieux.

Tolle Aussicht mit Strandlage und tollem Frühstück

Pros: Schönes Zimmer mit Balkon und direktem Meerblick (der alleine schon traumhaft war), sehr gutes Frühstück mit vielen selbstgemachten Sachen und richtigem Brot, Obst, Marmeladen und herzhaften Sachen. Zum Strand sind es nur ein paar Meter durch das Gartentor. Die Besitzerin ist sehr freundlich und gibt gute Tips. Man könnte zu Fuß nach Cargese laufen, der Rückweg ist aber insbesondere bei Dunkelheit nicht ratsam. Cargese ist ein sehr schöner kleiner Ort mit diversen Restaurants (meist eher hochpreisig) und einiges an Kultur. Im kleinen Hafen befinden ebenfalls einige Restaurants, die zwar Touricharakter haben, aber preislich und auch geschmacklich ziemlich gut sind.

Cons: Die Zimmer sind für einen längeren Aufenthalt etwas klein. Da die gesamte Westküste preislich auf einem ziemlich hohen Niveau liegt, liegt der Zimmerpreis im Rahmen.
