Hotel du Palais

Lovely stay

Pros: We arrived on the first flight (01/10) and the receptionist went to check if a room was available. We were delighted to be told that it was now ready. And this was a pleasant surprise for us. Throughout our stay we received pleasant courteous and helpful advice on all aspects of our stay. We liked the breakfast too. We will come back to this hotel and also recommend it to our friends. Thank you.

Cons: We can’t think of anything

Perfect place for a short stay central Ajaccio

Pros: Perfect 2-star hotel in central Ajaccio, large and comfortable bedroom, very comfortable bed and very good simple breakfast. Both ladies running the place are very kind and helpful to make your stay comfortable

Pros: Great option. Clean and comfortable. Far enough away from the centre to find free street parking but close enough to walk in. Handy free coffee/drinks by the reception.

Pleasant and convenient stay

Pros: Very convenient for the train and bus. Easy check in. Pleasant room.

Cons: The plumbing was a bit noisy.

Great base to explore city

Pros: Great location. The staff member was very helpful and friendly

Simple hotel close to the centre

Pros: A simple hotel close to the train station, a 10-15 min walk from the historical centre. Everything was clean and well taken care of, the staff was helpful and nice, but the reception has people on-site only for limited time per day. I liked the small balcony! There are some nice and reasonably-priced bakeries and food places in the area of the hotel, better value for money than in the main touristic area.

Cons: The hot water was not always there at the bathroom, sometimes it went only a bit warmer than cold.

Pros: Overall great accommodation, maybe a little expensive but that is my only complaint

Pros: It was very good for the price, and the personnel was very kind as well.

Great place to stay in Ajaccio

Pros: It is very well situated. Not far from the city centre. Staff was friendly. The room and bathroom were clean. It had a balcony. Recommended.

Cons: I arrived half an hour later due to the trafic. The reception was already closed. I had the code to enter the hotel, but then I found out that my room was already taken. I contacted the person in charge by the phone and I was given another room instead. It was not a big deal, but it would be nice to be contacted regarding the change of the room. I still had a pleasant stay.

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, location is hard to beat. For the price, I didn't see any competition in this location.
