Wonderful Place to Stay

Pros: A wonderful couple of nights spent at this calm and peaceful located property. We were met by the owners (unfortunately did not get their names). We ate in the restaurant on both evenings and had wonderful home cooked Corsican food. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The swimming pool was clean and warm; we were provided towels free of charge. Our room was large and had plenty of storage; was clean and the balcony was a good size with great views. We have travelled a lot but this is one of the hotels that will stay with us, we loved it.

Comfortable, stylish and tranquil. Just needs the exterior landscaping and driveway to be completed.

Pros: Lovely newly built hotel. Comfortable and stylish rooms. Nice quiet swimming pool. Very welcoming.

Cons: The exterior landscaping has not been completed and the entrance to the hotel is unfinished with a steep, unmade stony path where you need to be very careful with your car. We tried breakfast one morning. A more simple option would be useful for those with families not wanting a heavy breakfast.

Stay at Casa Matteu was good

Pros: Really enjoyed the stay at Casa Matteu. Stayed for two nights. De location is very new and that’s nice! A few small things that can be even better - but room for perfection is always good. Breakfast was good and staff was really nice! Enjoyed the pool!

Cons: Only thing we can think of is that we’ve really missed a small fridge in de room and some things that need to be finished (missing lamps with wires)

Pros: Hotel neuf très bien dans l'ensemble. Calme

Nieuwe accommodatie

Pros: Gloednieuwe accommodatie een tiental kilometer buiten Ajaccio. Gemakkelijk te bereiken. Veel parkeergelegenheid. Kamer heeft mooi terras. Tip. Als je vanuit de accomodatie naar Ajaccio wil en niet in het drukke stadsverkeer vast wil lopen, ga dan naar Parking Misericordia. Deze ligt iets buiten het centrum van Ajaccio en er vertrekt elke 6 minuten een shuttlebus naar hartje centrum.

Cons: Veel hoogteverschil met veel trappen. Schoonmaak verdient aandacht. Spinnenwebben in diverse hoeken. Douche liep niet af waardoor water de kamer inliep. Oorzaak zat bij een verstopte put buiten het appartement. Werd na melding onmiddellijk verholpen maar preventief onderhoud had dit kunnen voorkomen. Het restaurant was niet slecht maar ook niet buitengewoon, zoals in diverse recensies staat.

Pros: Chambre top , personnel aussi et piscine et restaurant parfait

Cons: Mauvaise évacuation de l’eau de la douche et clim’ un peu défaillante, elle nous a envoyer du chaud durant la nuit

Un luogo di pace fuori Ajaccio.

Pros: Posizione sulle colline fuori dal traffico di Ajaccio. Camere ampie e con una bella terrazza. Abbiamo goduto della colazione che era varia e buona.

Reposant

Pros: Hôtel très propre, le personnel est à l’écoute et tout le monde est très gentil, la literie est confortable, l’emplacement est super dans de belles petites chambres on se croiraient dans de petits appartements privatifs. L’hôtel dispose de places de parking gratuites toujours disponibles. Merci à l’Hotel Casa Matteu pour l’accueil.

Cons: Il manque une porte de douche (afin de mettre un peu moins d’eau partout mais c’est un détail) et il faudrait voir pour installer un petit capot sur le décodeur derrière la télévision afin que les veilleuses du décodeur ne fassent pas de lumière durant la nuit. ( je chipote car sinon tout est parfait).

Schönes Hotel am Rande der Stadt

Pros: Sehr nettes kleines Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer. Restaurant exzellent! Lage außerhalb Ajaccio mit tollem Blick auf die Berge und das Meer, trotzdem ist die Stadt schnell erreichbar.

Friendly hospitality in a beautiful setting!

Pros: We loved our stay at Casa Matteu! The hosts were SO friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable, and the property itself has a beautiful restaurant and pool. There was also lots of parking and the old town of Ajaccio is a short drive away. It was awesome!!
