Costa Nera Beach House

Pros: Very well presented and spotlessly clear. Great location for exploring south Corsica

Great location to one of the best beaches - great restaurants within reach

Pros: This apartment is in a complex that is very close to the beach. It is very secure (codes to get in at every entrance, and well run). Astrid met us and went through everything we needed in detail,. The rooms were spacious with all the extras thoughtfully provided for both short and long stay (luggage rack to get suitcases out of the way; washing machine, spacious bathroom; everything provided to cook a meal etc). The beach was close (through a couple of car parks - easy walk to St Guilio beach). Small mart outside property for basics that you might have forgotten (water, wine and beer, and snacks!) Astrid went above and beyond sending some forgotten items for us to the United Kingdom - quickly and efficiently - very much appreciated

Best Corsican stay

Pros: Absolutely stunning hotel, I enjoyed it so much more than the photos conveyed. First of all, Astrid is a super professional lovely manager who made us feel welcome and relaxed. The apartment itself is quiet, the balcony is very private with the view of the trees and sky. Everything is very clean and the smell of the washed towels, bedding, even inside the cupboard is lovely! I loved the details such as a hotel umbrella for rainy days, or the beach bag with hotel beach towels. The bed is very comfortable, the WiFi strong, and the facilities are convenient. The gated private parking area is super convenient as well. And, of course, the stunning Santa Giulia beach is just a 5 minute walk away. I would absolutely choose to stay in this hotel again.

Cons: Be aware of the mosquitoes and come prepared with a repellent for the evenings

An amazing place to stay in Santa Giulia

Pros: The location was amazing only across the road from the beach . A super clean appartment . Astrid was very welcoming and helpful . We had a fabulous stay

Pros: Clean and fresh property, well equipped, great territory with parking

Cons: Hard to get around the area without a car. The closest market (1 min away) is overpriced and to get to a bigger one or Porto-Vecchio is very hard as the public transport is almost non-existent

Relaxing

Pros: We liked the resort, the staff, cleanliness, comfort, proximity to beach and the privacy. Zina is an exceptional manageress, with a no problem attitude.

Cons: Everything at the resort was fine. The only comment I can make here is that, as we were two couples, we should have selected a two bedroom apartment, instead of 2x single rooms. This way we were quite a distance apart and as we are all one family we spent a lot of time together and constantly moving from one area to another for breakfast, or drinks was rather inconvenient. Maybe it should have somehow, somewhere been suggested to take a two bedroom apartment. By the way it would have been less expensive.

Pros: Absolutely no doubt that Costa Nera is a great choice for exploring Santa Giulia. Our apartment was squeaky clean, the check in was easy, the host was super friendly and helpful and you are located right on the beach (Santa Giulia).

Cons: If you don't visit in peak season, there are no buses going into Porto Vecchio from here, so it is very difficult to move around without a car. There are no big supermarkets located nearby, the closest one was Spar which is not within walking distance.

Excellent value for money, Veena was extremely welcoming/helpful and beach was beautiful
