Casa Alta

Pros: The hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming. Staying at Casa Alta was so comfortable it revitalised us on our way to continue the GR20. The stay, delicious dinner and hearty breakfast fortified us at the half way point. Casa Alta would be a great place to stay longer to relax.

A splendid stay with delicious food.

Pros: The hosts are extraordinary. The house is beautifully designed. The food was originally corse, exquisite and delicious. We will return.

Pros: Perfectly situated for accessing hiking trails in the area around Vizzavona.

Pros: We arrived at midday, they welcomed us and immediately gave us a room and we spent the afternoon at the Cascades de Anglais. When we returned in the evening there was no one and we left an email that we would leave the following morning at 6 to take the GR20 again. After 5 minutes we received an answer that they would prepare breakfast for us at 5.30 (the normal time was from 7 to 9.30) and they were delightful in their welcome and friendliness. super recommended

Pastoral ambience surrounded by mountains

Pros: Great breakfast with a wide selection of food including homemade jams and local cheese. The room was clean and cozy with pastoral ambience. The location is a bit outside of the center of Vizzavona, but bars and restaurants easily reachable by foot. Great place to stay for a hiking trip.

Cons: The room was a bit cold (but maybe that was just because we were exhausted from hiking)

Pros: AMAZING breakfast, one of the best I've had in my life!! Truły recommended. Also, The hosts were very welcoming and accomodating to our needs - it helpdesk us a lot to have a proper rest in our GR20 tour.

Beautiful woodland B&B

Pros: Super friendly staff and an amazing dinner was served there. The room was was nicely furnished and an excellent breakfast

Cons: It is an old building and therefore you do hear some noise as other people move about, but this didnt cause us any big issues

Just what I needed

Pros: - An excellent place to stop for a comfortable night's sleep on the GR20. - Very nice rooms with great beds and en suite hot shower and toilets. - The hosts were nice and very helpful, and accommodating of my lack of French. - The food was great with a good selection of local dishes. (It's recommended to call ahead to secure dinner)

Wonderful trekking break at Casa Alta

Pros: Wonderful stay at Casa Alta in the midst of the GR20 - exactly what we needed: warmth, comfort, great food and friendly staff. We had a fantastic dinner upon arrival as well as amazing breakfast before entering the second/southern part of the GR20. Bed is very comfy (especially after over a week in refuges and tents) and staff nice & accommodating.

Cons: Don’t expect a big room, it is quite tiny overall but not a problem at all.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, the food is great and the hosts friendly and helpful. Recommended
