Great stay in a mountain village

Pros: The room was nice and very well furnished. Great attention to details We loved the atmosphere and the host was super genuine

Pros: There was a big room. Lots of towels.Kit for bathroom necessities. Very nice smelling towels. Film festival-open air. Very friendly staff! Fresh mounting air. Free living friendly cows in the Village-ha ha. English speaekers. Staff not interfering into us. Respecting privacy.

Cons: The entrance if noone appears. How to enter closed garden doors. Finaly we called the Lady owner and got the Code. At the same time lady houskeeping boss appeared. ALL WAS OK.

Quiet and peaceful, lovely place

Pros: A 40-minute drive along winding mountain roads lands you in a charming village high in the mountains. Peace and quiet. Our room was on the first floor of a historic house with a freshly renovated bathroom. Thanks to the wonderful owners, we felt like we were visiting friends. Secure parking on the property and a lovely garden for evening relaxation. Very nice breakfast at the restaurant nearby.

Cons: WiFi works downstairs only but who cares about WiFi in this beautiful place No air conditioning but great fan provided and up high in the mountains the temple is not as high as down below

Enjoyable stay

Pros: This is a charming old stone building. The host also runs the only cafe in the village. He was very friendly and attentive making breakfast available early for us. The room was comfortable with a modern bathroom. There are tables and chairs in the garden outside the gite. Convenient for Mare e Mare Sud walkers.

Excellent property on stunning village location in the mountains.

Pros: It was a really great room, very large with an excellent shower room. The doors opened immediately onto the garden. Excellent breakfast provided by the central bar in the village. Gated garden for secure parking for our motorbike. Stunning location.

Cons: I lost one star just due to the fact that there is no clear signage for the property apart from a Gite sign on the railings to the side. I did attempt to call the owner on arrival but no answer. I recalled seeing a review to say that the bar was linked to the property owner so we headed up there. We were greeted by a really friendly guy who took us straight down and showed us our room and explained everything we needed to know. Perhaps it may be helpful for people to receive some arrival info incase they don’t read reviews. Would definitely stay here again!

Good stay, nice village

Pros: Good bed, good shower & quiet location. Private parking available.

Cons: No duvet bed cover, only a tin bed sheet. A bit of a basic breakfast.

Descansa despues de tu caminata en la Casa Carbinesa.

Pros: Nos dieron un desayuno que no sabiamos que estaba incluido. La habitacion era muy bonita. Fueron muy amables. Las mismas personas manejan el unico restaurante-bar del pueblo. Nos dieron de cenar aunque ya no era hora de servicio.

Pros: Bel endroit! La vue sur les aiguilles de Bavella! Le petit-déjeuner.

Pros: Lieu assez exceptionnel. Chambre très spacieuse. Très bon accueil

Halte nature hors du temps à tester.

Pros: Maison authentique et néanmoins très confortable, équipée de manière moderne et avec tous les équipements d’aujourd’hui. Possibilité de manger dans le jardin pour le petit-déjeuner notamment. Parking appréciable.

Cons: L’absence de restaurant dans le village mais le sachant d’avance avec de l’organisation et tous les équipements mis à disposition, cela n’est pas un problème.
