Bonifacio Delights

Pros: The apartment was about 50 metres inside the Bastion entrance. It was very comfortable, had domestic equipment of the highest order and was a great base from which to explore the fortress and enjoy the magnificent views. It was exciting to be cosily housed in a street where Napoleon had once lived. The ferry terminal to Sardinia, our next stop, was conveniently situated just below the city walls beneath us. We liked everything.

Cons: The bathroom. Might be a little small for someone who is well built or obese

Clean, beautiful and modern apartment right in the centre of Bonifacio.

Pros: Right in the centre of Bonifacio, very modern and well equiped with proper bathroom and kitchen. Owner is very clear and helpfull. Very clean also. TIP FOR TOURIST WITH A RENTAL CAR: get a tourist pass (€60 for 1 week instead of the regular €25 per day) for parking from the parking administration office on the 3rd floor of the Library in the city centre. Visit Tourist Information Centre for more info.

Cons: Only tiny little downside: no breadknife for the baguette;-)

Pros: The apartment was new, well furnished and curated in every single detail, everything that could be needed was available. Special mention for the kitchen supplies! The host was super nice and even came to check that everything was alright after a power and water outage. We totally recommend it!
